Vana Loukissas, a 2003 graduate of Hunter College, enters into her second season as head women’s basketball coach, following three seasons as an assistant coach with the team.

Loukissas earned a bachelor of science in Physical Education while also competing as a member of the Hawk women’s basketball and softball teams. She received numerous accolades as a member of the women’s basketball team for four seasons and currently ranks 2nd all-time in career assists. She was also a four-year standout for the softball team and was a part of three CUNYAC Championship teams, 2001-2003. Loukissas also served as an assistant coach for the Hawks softball team in 2007.

She currently resides in Fresh Meadows, NY and is a Physical Education Teacher at The Bronx High School of Science.
