Providence, RI – Junior Jose Samora, Jr. (New York, NY/Frederick Douglas Academy) entered this weekend ranked 18th and would end up advancing to the third round to finish 15th out of 35 competitors in foil at the 2009-10 NCAA Northeast Regional Championship hosted by Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

New York, NY – The men’s fencing team earned two big victories on Sunday, defeating the University of Virginia 17-10 and then edging out William & Mary 14-13 at the final MACFA event of the season, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ.

New York, NY – Competing in their final home bout of the season, the Hunter men’s fencing team picked up 16-11 victory over Stony Brook University, led by the foil and epee teams who each earned 7-2 victories on Friday night.

Madison, NJ – The Hunter men’s fencing team picked up 14-13 victory over St. John’s University while competing in the first Middle Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association [MACFA] event of the season, hosted by Drew University in Madison, NJ. The Hawks finished the day with a 1-5 record.
