New York, NY - The women’s track and field team concluded their season this weekend by competing in the NYC Qualifying Challenge on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The meet held at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island had competitors from all three NCAA divisions and included open athletes.

New York, NY – The Hunter women’s outdoor track & field team, led by sophomore
Nancy Olisma (Brooklyn, NY/St. Saviour) who won a team high four medals, had their highest finish at the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship meet since 2006, placing second overall with 141 points on an extremely hot afternoon at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island Saturday afternoon.

New Haven, CT. –The Hawks had season best times in seven different events on Sunday as the women’s track and field team competed in the Yale Springtime Invitational in New Haven, CT. This was the Hawks final tune-up meet before the CUNYAC Championships next weekend.

Melanie Boyce (New York, NY/Bishop Ford Central) scored a total of 30 points in four events on Sunday to lead the women’s track and field team to a third place finish in the New York Relays at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island. The meet contained athletes from Division 2, Division 3, Community College, Club teams, and Open athletes. Only college teams were scored.

Lawrenceville N.J. – The women’s track and field team finished in eighth place out of nine teams on Saturday at the Rider Invitational. The Hawks competed against schools from Division 1 and Division 2. All eight points were scored from the 4X100 meter relay team that finished second with a time of 58.93 seconds.
