New York, NY – First-year runner Laura Age (Garden City, NY) has been named as a CUNY Athletic Conference All-Star for her performance this season as a member of the women's outdoor track & field team. At the conference championship meet, Age won two silver medals while setting personal bests in the 1,500 meter run and the 5,000 meter run. Her time in the 1,500, 5:26.94, was 20 seconds faster than her prior best recorded a month earlier. Then in the 5,000, Age finished 13.94 seconds ahead of her personal best of 20:56.77. She finished the day with 16 points and the team finished fifth overall.
