La Plume, PA – Senior guard
Emiljano Kinaj (Bronx, NY/John F. Kennedy) scored a game high 20 points that helped the Hawks to an 11-point first half lead, but the second half was all Keystone who would walk away with a 78-65 victory in a non-conference men's basketball game Saturday afternoon in La Plume, PA.
Senior forward
Frantz Millien (Rockland, NY/North Rockland) led all scorers at the end of the first stanza with 15 points, but was held scoreless in a second half that saw Keystone outscore the Hawks 47-23.
Millien finished the day with 15 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes of play.
Kinaj added seven rebounds and six assists to his stellar game.
Keystone was led by freshman guard Channing Woodall (Plant City, FL/Plant City) who had 20 points and nine rebounds, while freshman forward Kenneth Hardnett (Plant City, FL/Plant City) contributed with 14 points and seven rebounds.
The Hawks now fall to 4-6 on the year, while the Giants improve to 5-2 overall. Hunter will return to action on Wednesday, January 7 when they travel down Lexington Avenue for a big conference showdown against Baruch College. The men's game is slated to tip-off at 7:30 p.m., while the women's game begins at 5:30 p.m.
