In addition to Messina, seniors Evan Velez (Bronx, NY/Lehman) and Brian Scher (Levittown, NY/MacArthur), junior Andre DeCristo (Queens, NY/Long Island City) and sophomore Joey Scott (Walden, NY/Valley Central) each received honorable mention for their efforts this season. Messina is the first Hawk grappler this season to break into the top ten of any national ranking list.
