New York, NY – After two failed attempts to play a regular season match, the Hawks faced N.Y. City Tech for the first time on Tuesday afternoon in the Quarterfinals of the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship Tournament where Hunter defeated the Golden Jackets by a score of 5-0 on their home courts at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.

Senior Evgeniya Kim (Flushing, NY/Cardozo) and sophomore Stefanie Smith (Little Neck, NY/Cardozo) clinched the match for Hunter with two singles victories after Hunter swept all three doubles matches. A full recap of today's matches with scores will be available later tonight.

The Hawks will now host the fifth-seeded Lehman College for their Semifinal match on Friday at the USTA Tennis Center at 4:00 p.m.
