New York, NY – Freshman middle blocker Jenna Pape (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) hit a season high .800 with eight kills and no errors on ten attempts and also finished with three total blocks to lead the Hawks to a 3-0 (25-2, 25-4, 25-15) over Brooklyn College in a CUNY Athletic Conference match Tuesday night at the Hunter Sportsplex.

Senior outside hitter Karolina Koguc (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) had a solid performance as well, supplying seven kills, hitting .455 and five serving aces. Sophomore outside hitter Christine Luebcke (Jackson Heights/NY, Cardozo) finished with a team high five digs and also had four kills while hitting .667. Sophomore Katina Boutis (Pilot Mountain, NC/Salem Academy) and freshman Mia Alexis De Claro (Westbury, NY/Bayside) split setting duties, each tallying eight assists.

Brooklyn had two players record two kills each, while senior setter Thea Schlieben had a match high seven digs.

The Hawks now improve to 18-7 on the season and are 7-1 in CUNYAC play, while the Bridges fall to 1-7 in the conference and 4-14 overall. The Hawks will now head to Saratoga Spring, NY for take part in the Skidmore Tournament where they will compete against Colby-Sawyer, Skidmore, Union and Clarkson University on Friday and Saturday.
