New York, NY – Competing in their final home bout of the season, the Hunter men’s fencing team picked up 16-11 victory over Stony Brook University, led by the foil and epee teams who each earned 7-2 victories on Friday night.

The foil team was led by juniors Jose Samora, Jr. and Marcus Ng who each won all three of their bouts. In epee, junior Michael Quackenbush grabbed three wins, while sophomore Justin Lokossou was 2-0 and sophomore Nial Welch finished 2-1. The Hawks two victories in sabre came from junior Angel Rivera and freshman Gianluca Arianna.

The men’s team will now head to Newark, NJ on Sunday when they will face teams from the MACFA C Division at the event hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology.
