Brooklyn, NY – Freshman middle blocker Braien Otsla (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) recorded a match high ten kills, hitting .368 to the Hawks to a 3-0 (30-20, 30-16, 30-13) over NYU-Polytechnic on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, NY.

Senior setter Zacarias Ripoll-Cid (Puerto Plata, D.R./John F. Kennedy) hit a team high .643 with nine kills, and also had 12 assists and ten digs. Freshman middle blocker Jeremy Grubler (Bayside, NY/Bayside) had his best performance of the season with seven kills, while junior outside hitter Christopher Newcomb (Waimea, Kauai, HI/Waimea) contributed with six kills and two aces.

Hunter (11-7) returns home on Thursday when they are scheduled to host N.Y. City Tech for a 6:00 p.m. CUNY Athletic Conference match at the Sportsplex.
