Jamiaca, NY – Sophomore outside hitter Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) led the Hawks in kills once again, this time recording 14, while hitting .524 in a 3-0 (30-19, 30-14, 30-16) sweep of N.Y. City Tech to close out the CUNYAC multi-match on Saturday hosted by York College in Jamaica, NY.

Freshman middle blocker Braien Otsla (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) hit .600 with nine kills and no errors, while juniors Christopher Newcomb (Waimea, Kauai, HI/Waimea) and Marcin Polak (Brooklyn, NY/Fort Hamilton) each added seven kills. Polak also finished with match highs of seven digs and four total blocks.

Hunter (4-4) will return home on Tuesday to face the City College of New York (3-5, 1-1 CUNYAC) for a 6:00 p.m. match and then will host York College on Thursday for two home matches starting at 5:30 p.m.
