Farmingdale, NY- The Women’s Track and Field team competed at the Farmingdale State Invitational on Saturday in Farmingdale, NY.  

Freshman Johanna Keilwitz (Wolmirstedt, Germany/Sportgymnasium Halle) finished in second place in the 10K run with a time of 48:42.81. Sophomore Nancy Olisma (Brooklyn, NY/St. Saviour) was able to finish in third in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:02.97 and eighth in the discus with a throw of 22.18 meters and a combined distance of 72-09 meters.

Sophomore Mehida Alexandre (Brooklyn, NY/Sheepshead Bay) finished in fourth place in the 400 meters hurdles with a time of 1:15.84. In the 1500 meter run sophomore Jacklyn Henderson (Oyster Bay, NY/Oyster Bay) finished in 13th place with a time of 1:15.84. In the 800 meter run freshman Natoya Bromfield (Brooklyn, NY/LaGuardia) finished in 13th place with a time of 2:47.92.  

The Hawks will next be in action next Saturday when they will travel to West Point, NY to compete in the Dick Shea Open.
