New York, NY – After earning a spot to compete at the 2010 ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championship meet in her first race of the season, freshman
Lizzy Mahoney (Auburn, NY/Auburn) finished 17th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19:16.62 on Friday afternoon at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Mahoney became the first male or female member of Hunter’s track and field program to compete at the indoor or outdoor ECAC Championship since Anna Plaunova in 2008.
