Sophomore Alex Stanciu (New York, NY/Locust Valley) then grabbed his seventh win of the season in a 6-1, 6-2 match against Busat at first singles. Marrero picked up his fifth win of the year by defeating Lateef 6-0, 6-3 in their second singles match. Competing in the third spot today, Cruz downed Distin 6-3, 6-3, while Katz was victorious at fourth singles 6-1, 6-2.
