On Wednesday, September 8, the women's tennis team traveled to Jamaica, Queens for a conference matchup against the Cardinals of York College. The Hawks played very well and came out on top yet again to earn their second win in as many games to advance their record to 2-0 as the Cardinals fall to 0-2.

The Hawks rolled through the singles games with Jane Selegean and Ericka Jaramillo each sweeping first and fourth singles respectively, 6-0, 6-0. They won the remaining singles games to go up 6-0 over York.

The women's tennis squad return to action today, September 9, when they travel to Patchogue, N.Y. for a match against St. Joseph's. The scheduled start time is 7:00 pm.
