Hunter College Athletics

Dr. Russell Lieberman dominated the pool during his four years at Hunter, graduating with then school records in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle along with two relay marks. A two-time Metropolitan Collegiate champion in the 50 freestyle, Lieberman was also a four-time CUNYAC champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle. He capped his career as team captain and MVP, while earning All-Metropolitan Swim Team honors in his senior season.
