Hunter College Athletics

Premier soccer player for the hawks during the late 1950’s, Vargas was a Metropolitan Conference All-Star who led the nation in assists in 1959. The 1960 team captain received the Hunter College Outstanding Graduating Athlete Award. He went on to coach numerous college and New York State youth programs and All-Star teams.
