Jezel starred in three sports at Hunter for all of her four years. In volleyball, she was named team MVP twice, for leading the team in all statistical categories. She is the all-time leader for aces and single-season record holder for games played, assists, aces and digs. She was named CUNYAC Softball Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003 and led the Hawks to the NCAA Tournament in 2001 and 2002. She is the only CUNYAC Student-Athlete to advance to the NCAA Tournament in three sports. In her senior season, she was an honorable mention All-American in softball and won CUNYAC Championship MVP awards for all three sports. She is the only student-athlete in Hunter College history to be named a tournament MVP in three sports.
