Livia Theresa Olmeda Limaxes enjoyed a standout career in three sports at Hunter College. She was a four-year letter winner in field hockey, basketball and softball. On the grass, She was a prolific scorer renowned for her speed and quickness. On the hardwood, she helped lead the team to an undefeated season as a senior. On the diamond, she swung a potent bat and played excellent defense at the shortstop position. She also served as the President of the Hunter Athletic Association. Following graduation, she went on to play on semi-professional field hockey, lacrosse and softball teams. In addition, she coached volleyball and softball at New Hyde Park High School for 25 years.
