As a four-year letter winner in softball, Bevaqua-Barnes was a three-time CUNYAC All-Star in 1986, 1987 and 1988. She was also a first-team New York State All-Star in 1987 and a member of Hunter’s 1986 and 1988 CUNY Championship teams. As a Junior, she paced the squad in runs (28) and walks (25), ranking her #1 and #4, respectively, on the all-time Hunter single season list in these categories at the time of her induction. In her senior season, batted .342, with 25 runs, 19 RBI’s, 14 Walks and 10 stolen bases. For her career, she ranked #4 in walks (41), #6 in singles (53) and #8 in runs (57) at Hunter.
