Recipient of the 1958 Athlete of the Year award in Baseball, Brier was also voted MVP in Basketball in 1959 and was an ECAC silver medalist in track and field during the 1959-60 season. This three-year varsity player was a 1959 Knickerbocker Conference All-Star and team captain.
