Hunter College Athletics

Hunter’s first Academic All-American, Roman led Division III (NCAA) in stolen bases for two years (‘74 and ’75). He played with the Cleveland Indians AA Club for three seasons. While at Hunter he batted .377 in ’75, .339 in ’74, .301 in ’73 and .441 in ’72. He has coached for the Indians, Mets and has been a minor league manager and scout.
