FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winner for men's basketball with JP Maaba of the Hunter College men's basketball team earning his fourth Rookie of the Week title for the season.

In Hunter's conference opener against Baruch, JP Maaba led the team with 18 points and seven assists in addition to a pair of rebounds and a steal. In the team's first win of the season, he grabbed a last-minute steal, leading to an assist to Jayden Jarrett to seal the win for the Hawks in the final seconds of play.

Hunter returns to the court on Dec. 9 as the team travels to USMMA for a 7 p.m. road game.
