New York, NY – Following a successful Cross Country season, Hunter standout freshman Lizzy Mahoney (Auburn, NY/Auburn) earned her first collegiate Indoor Track victory on Sunday, taking first out of 16 competitors in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:41.37 at the 2009 CTC Relays in New Haven, Connecticut.

Another newcomer to the team, junior Jennifer Arozamena (Hoboken, NJ/Woodbridge), did well in the 5000 meter run, finishing 8th overall with a time of 21:04.11.

In relay events, the Hawks finished fifth in the distance medley with a time of 14:33.47, seventh in the 4x400 [4:45.62], and eighth in the 4x200 relay [2:24.40].
