Fairfield, CT – The Hawks entered tonight's match riding a seven match win streak, but Sacred Heart put an end to that on Saturday with a 3-0 (30-23, 30-21, 30-17) win in men's volleyball action in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Sophomore Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) led the hawks with ten kills and 14 digs, while junior outside hitter Christopher Newcomb (Waimea, Kauai, HI/Waimea) added seven kills, 11 digs and two total blocks. Junior opposite Marcin Polak (Brooklyn, NY/Fort Hamilton) also contributed with eight kills and nine digs.

Hunter (8-5, 6-0 CUNYAC) return home on Tuesday when they will face #7 Philadelphia Biblical University for a 6:00 p.m. match at the Hunter Sportsplex.
