Guerrero dismantled the field this weekend at the Hunter Invitational winning the event by covering the 8k course at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx in a time of 26:55 a full two and a half minutes ahead of the second place finisher. He led the Hunter “A” team to a 2nd place finish out of ten schools. This was also his second victory on the season. The Hawks will now compete in the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship on the same course at Van Cortlandt Park. Guerrero was also named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for his performance.
