Jaramillo played an instrumental role in the Hawks 5-0 win over Lehman in the CUNYAC Semifinals (October 23). She started the match with an 8-3 victory at first doubles alongside senior Evgeniya Kim. Then with the Hawks leading 3-0 following doubles play, Jaramillo gave the Hawks a 4-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-0 win at fifth singles. During the Hawks quarterfinal match against City Tech, Jaramillo won her first doubles match with Kim 8-1 but was not able to finish her singles match before the Hawks clinched the 5-0 victory. The Hawks will now face Baruch College in program’s 20th consecutive CUNYAC women’s tennis championship match.
