Shifrin went 14-3 at the EWFC Individual Championship Tournament (February 28) held at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. She was named 2010 EWFC Sabre Fencer of the Year after defeating Alicia Rapp of Drew University in a fence-off. The Hawks will now head to the NIWFA Championship which will be held on Saturday, March 6 at Army in West Point, N.Y. This is Shifrin’s second time being honored as Athlete of the Week.
