Perepelov went 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles play this week for the Hawks. He grabbed the team’s only win against a strong Manhattanville team with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over their top player (April 9). He then helped the Hawks remain unbeaten in conference play with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in first singles over John Jay College (April 10). He then teamed with Arthur Kapetanakis for an easy 8-1 win at first doubles. The Hawks stand 8-1 overall and 5-0 in CUNYAC play and will next be in action on April 14 for a 3:30 p.m. home match vs. Drew University at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. They will then face rival Baruch College on April 16 at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. for a 3:30 p.m. match. Perepelov was also named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week.
