Dennis Melendez led the Hawks this weekend at the NYS Championships, as he placed 7^th in the 184 pound weight class. Melendez defeated Austin Lynn of Jamestown Community by a 7-4 decision. He then lost his second match, but rebounded back by defeating D. Edmond, pinning him at 1:49. After dropping his next match, Melendez won his next match securing him 7^th place.
