Tonight's victory improves the Hawks to 16-9 overall and keeps them atop the CUNYAC with an 8-0 conference record. The Lightning fall to 6-13 overall and are tied for fifth place in the conference with a 4-4 CUNYAC record.
The Hawks return home on Thursday, October 18 when they host Saint Joseph's College for a 6:00 p.m. non-conference match. In their last meeting, the Hawks defeated the Golden Eagles 3-0 at the Vassar Tournament on September 8, 2007.
