New York, NY – Freshman guard
Megan McKenna (Rockaway, NY/Midwood) scored a team high 12 points in her collegiate debut, but a first half deficit would plague the Hawks as they fall to Albright College 84-31 in the first game of the Hunter College Tip-Off Tournament Friday evening at the Hunter Sportsplex in New York, NY.

Annie McMahon (Havertown, PA/Haverford) led all scorers with 16 points and added six rebounds. Freshman guard
Jessica McGinness (Norristown, PA/Kennedy Kenrick) was the only other Lion to score in double figures, dropping ten points coming off the bench.
Sophomore forward
Andrea Buckham (Jamaica, NY/Flushing) shot 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line as the second highest scorer for the Hawks finishing with 11 points and also contributed five rebounds and three steals.
The Lions capitalized on tonight's turnover ratio, netting 40 points off of 36 Hawk turnovers. They also dominated the paint, scoring 30 of their 84 points underneath the hoop.
In the second game of the Tournament, Bridgewater College defeated Greensboro College 66-55. Bridgewater will now face-off against Albright in the championship game on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., while the Hawks will battle Greensboro in the consolation game at 1:00 pm.
