Senior outside hitter
Safiya Solomon (Mount Vernon, NY/Pelham Memorial) also had a solid offensive game with 12 kills and junior outside hitter/setter
Amanda Kamm (Dix Hills, NY/Hills West) added eight kills, seven digs and 21 assists. Also contributing for the Hawks were sophomore libero
Lauren Auerbach (Tucson/Salpointe Catholic, AZ) with 13 digs and junior setter
Melissa Hernandez (Ridgewood, NY/Aviation) who tallied 22 assists.
Tonight's win improves the Hawks to 7-5 on the season and they remain on top of the conference with a 4-0 record. The Beavers fall to 8-4 and are now 3-1 in the conference, sitting in second place.
The Hawks return home on Thursday, when they host the Pioneers of William Patterson University for a 6:00 p.m. match at the Hunter Sportsplex.
