Velez opened up the day with a 7-3 decision at 125 pounds over Wilkes junior
Shaun Farnham (Baldwinsville, NY/Charles W. Baker) improving to 3-2 on the year in dual meet action.
DeCristo remained unbeaten with his fourth dual match win via a 5-1 decision over sophomore
Josh Ballan (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) at 174 pounds.
After this first match, the Hawks fall to 1-4 in dual meets, but will look to rebound in their two remaining matches against Baldwin Wallace and #19 Oneonta State.
