Upper Montclair, NJ – Freshman guard Michelle Gatti (Brooklyn, NY/Christ the King) scored a team high seven points in what would be a rough outing for the Hawks against a strong Montclair State team on the road, falling 60-28 in non-conference women's basketball action Monday evening at Panzer Gymnasium in Upper Montclair, NJ.

Sophomore forward Catherine Cristino (Farmingdale, NJ/Colts Neck) scored 10 points while senior guard Jessica Garrabrant (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) and sophomore guard Jamilee Plfug (Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) each added nine for Montclair State who posted its second straight victory to improve to 7-5 on the year.

Hunter will remain on the road as they head up to Newburgh, NY to face Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday and then will return home for a CUNY Athletic Conference doubleheader with the College of Staten Island on Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
