Broome Assists In Hawks Victory

Wayne, NJ – Sophomore setter Stephanie Broome (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) recorded match highs of 29 assists and 12 digs to help the Hawks to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-14) over the Pioneers of William Paterson University in a non-conference women's volleyball match in Wayne, NJ.

Senior opposite Amanda Kamm (Dix Hills, NY/Hills West) has continued her stellar play, finishing with a match high 16 kills along with seven assists, five digs and four serving aces. Sophomore middle blocker Tracey Igwe (Bronx, NY/DeWitt Clinton) added five kills and three assisted blocks for the Hawks.

Hunter, now 11-1 on the year, return to action on Saturday when they host Farmingdale State for a 10:00 a.m. match and then Rutgers-Camden at 2:00 p.m.
