Olga Petrenko (Bronx, NY/Environmental Studies) hit a perfect 10 kills on 10 attempts to help lead the Hawks to their 17th win of the season, defeating Brooklyn College 3-0 (25-7, 25-6, 25-13) Tuesday evening in a CUNY Athletic Conference women's volleyball match in Brooklyn, NY.
Also excelling in tonight's victory were sophomore
Stephanie Broome (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook), finishing with a season high nine kills, hitting .571 and freshman middle blocker
Inna Illna (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) also had a season high with a .667 hitting percentage (4-0-6).
The Hawks, now 17-5 overall and 7-1 in the CUNYAC, return to action on Thursday for a non-conference match against Saint Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY.
