New York, NY – Sophomore setter
Stephanie Broome (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) finished with a match high .714 hitting percentage (5-0-7) and had15 assists as the Hawks swept Rutgers-Camden, 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-9) in a non-conference women's volleyball match on Saturday afternoon at the Hunter Sportsplex.
Senior opposite
Amanda Kamm (Dix Hills, NY/Hills West) once again led the team in kills, recording 12 along with four assists, aces and digs. Sophomore middle blocker
Tracey Igwe (Bronx, NY/DeWitt Clinton) also had a nice math, hitting .600 (6-0-10), while senior outside hitter
Olga Petrenko (Bronx, NY/Environmental Studies) contributed five kills and a match high eight digs.
The Hawks return to action next weekend when they head to Cortland, NY for the SUNY-Cortland Tournament which begins on Saturday, October 11 and finishes up on Sunday .
