Amanda Kamm (Dix Hills, NY/Hills West) finished with a match high 15 kills along with 14 assists and seven digs, but it would not be enough as SUNY-New Paltz earns a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-18) victory over the Hunter Hawks to advance to the next round of the NCAA Women's Volleyball New York Regional Wednesday night at Union College in Schenectady, NY.

Melissa Hernandez (Ridgewood, NY/Aviation) led the team with 21 assists and sophomore libero
Rachel SantaOlalla (Ventura, CA/Ventura) tallied a match high 13 digs.
New Paltz (30-9) will now face the winner of Rivier and the host Union College. The Hawks close out the 2008 season with a 27-6 record and won the program's 19th conference championship, third in a row.
