Brooklyn, NY – Senior guard Emiljano Kinaj (Bronx, NY/John F. Kennedy) scored a game high 23 points shooting 5-of-8 from downtown and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe as the Hawks coasted by Medgar Evers College 89-70 in a CUNY Athletic Conference men's basketball game Wednesday night in Brooklyn, NY.

The Hawks took a 40-18 lead midway through the first half, eventually finishing with a 52-36 lead. The Cougars managed to cut the deficit in the second half, but Hunter never relinquished their lead and cruised to their second consecutive conference victory.

Freshman guard Mark Courtien (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) tied a career high of 17 points, while senior forward Frantz Millien (Rockland, NY/North Rockland) scored 16 points and senior guard Nicholas Flagg (Queens, NY/Cardozo) finished with 14 points for the Hawks.

The Hawks return home on Friday when they are scheduled to face Baruch College who currently sit atop the CUNYAC with a perfect 8-0 record in the second game of a men's and women's double header with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
