Emiljano Kinaj (Bronx, NY/John F. Kennedy) scored a game high 23 points shooting 5-of-8 from downtown and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe as the Hawks coasted by Medgar Evers College 89-70 in a CUNY Athletic Conference men's basketball game Wednesday night in Brooklyn, NY.
The Hawks took a 40-18 lead midway through the first half, eventually finishing with a 52-36 lead. The Cougars managed to cut the deficit in the second half, but Hunter never relinquished their lead and cruised to their second consecutive conference victory.

Mark Courtien (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) tied a career high of 17 points, while senior forward
Frantz Millien (Rockland, NY/North Rockland) scored 16 points and senior guard
Nicholas Flagg (Queens, NY/Cardozo) finished with 14 points for the Hawks.
The Hawks return home on Friday when they are scheduled to face Baruch College who currently sit atop the CUNYAC with a perfect 8-0 record in the second game of a men's and women's double header with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
