After taking an 8-4 lead four minutes into the game, the Beavers quickly found themselves on the opposite end with the Hawks going on a 22-4 run to take a 26-12 lead with 6:54 left in the half. Hunter would finish the first half with a 43-29 lead. Cole would go on to score nine of his 17 points in the second to help the Hawks to their fifth conference win of the season.
