Jamaica, NY – Senior forward Frantz Millien (Rockland, NY/North Rockland) put forth a 23 points and 11 rebounds performance on Sunday, but his efforts would not be enough as York College advances to the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament with an 81-72 victory on their home floor in Jamaica, NY.

Senior guard Nicholas Flagg (Queens, NY/Cardozo) added 21 points, shooting 10-of-13 from the free throw line, while freshman guard Mark Courtien (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) added 15 points for the Hawks. The Cardinals were led by sophomore forward Marcel Esonwune (Lagos, Nigeria/Marist Brothers) who scored 23 points and pulled down a game high 18 rebounds.

The Hawks finish their season with an 8-18 overall record. Millien closes out his two year career with 723 points and 409 rebounds.
