New York, NY – Senior outside hitter
Karolina Koguc (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) recorded a match high ten kills, hitting .304 and had four serving aces to help lead the Hawks to a 3-0 (25-3, 25-11, 25-9) victory over the Cardinals of York College Tuesday night in a CUNY Athletic Conference women's volleyball match at the Hunter Sportsplex.

Jenna Pape (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) also had a big match for the Hawks, hitting .625 with ten kills, while sophomore opposite
Rodesha Donaldson registered eight serving aces and sophomore setter
Katina Boutis (Pilot Mountain, NC/Salem Academy) dished out 26 assists.
Senior middle blocker Shanine Bogan (Brooklyn, NY/Clara Barton) hit a team high .214 with four kills and two total blocks for the Cardinals. Freshman libero Rhevany Knowles (Bronx, NY/Medical Science) finished with a match high ten digs and senior setter Charlina Gallegos (Mexico City, MX/Hillcrest) hadsix assists.
Hunter now improves their season mark to 11-6 and are unbeaten at 5-0 in the conference, while the Cardinals fall to 4-11 on the year and 2-3 in the CUNYAC. Hunter will be back in action on Friday, when they travel upstate for the Oneonta Invitational where they are scheduled to start the weekend Hartwick at 6:00 p.m. and Springfield College at 8:00 p.m.
