On Monday, October 11, the women's volleyball team took part in the second CUNYAC Multi-Match of the season hosted by Brooklyn College. The Hawks took on York and Medgar Evers College and won both matches to advance their record to 9-11, 7-0 CUNYAC.

Hunter found their ryhthm early on against the Cardinals and crusied to a three-set victory with scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-12. It was the same situation against MEC as they rolled through the match in three sets for the second time, 25-12, 25-7, 25-15.

Mallory Grubler collected 27 kills on the day and had game highs in kills for each match. Setter Katina Boutis also held game highs in each of the two matches with 20 a piece. Kim Hirten posted a total of 14 kills and 22 digs while Christine Luebcke tallied 15 total kills on the day.

The Hawks return to action this Friday, October 15 when they host NJCU in their second match of the season. The contest is slated for a 6:00 pm start.
