Flushing, NY - Hunter (14-1) rolled to a trio of convincing decisions in doubles play to open up its match against John Jay (7-9), including 8-0 sweeps by Epraksi Yushkova and Jane Selegean, as well as Ericka Jaramillo and Olga Chagin in the first and third flights, respectively. Also, the No. 2 doubles squad of Jennifer Kraham and Arielle Kamin scored an 8-2 decision over the Bloodhounds' Jessica Eng and Kathy Seo.

Selegean and Kraham continued their hot play in singles action, with the former earning a 6-love, 6-love victory at the No. 2 flight versus Lauren Mallon. Meanwhile, Kraham won by identical 6-0 scores in straight sets at No. 3 singles against Eng. Finishing play at the same time as Selegean's match was Kamin, who knocked off Seo by a 6-0, 6-1 count.
