Dubois Scores Game High 23 Points in 82-67 Victory at CCNY

New York, NY – Junior guard Maxwell Dubois (Hollywood, FL/Dillard) scored a game high 23 points in 17 minutes off the bench in the second half to lead the Hawks to an 82-67 victory over the City College of New York in Hunter's regular season finale on Sunday evening at Nat Holman Gymnasium.

Freshman guard Izzy Hoffman (Woodside, NY/Archbishop Molloy) had one of his higher scoring efforts this season, netting 14 points and dished out five assists, while sophomore guard Mark Courtien (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) added 11 points and junior guard Rocco Rubino (Brooklyn, NY/Archbishop Molloy) finished with ten points.

For the Beavers, sophomore forward Ben Washington finished with 18 points and had ten rebounds, followed by junior guard Xavier Gonzalez with 12 points and guards Israel Vickers and Vincent Roberts each scored ten points.

The Hawks close out the regular season with a 12-13 overall record and an 8-5 conference record, finishing fourth overall and will now host a quarterfinal game on Saturday, with their opponent to be decided on Monday night.
