On Thursday, September 9, the women's tennis team traveled to Patchogue, New York to take on Saint Joseph's in a non-conference matchup. While the Golden Eagles took two out of three doubles games, the Hawks managed to win four out of six singles games to take a 5-4 match win. With the victory, Hunter advances to 3-0, 2-0 CUNYAC while Saint Joseph's falls to 2-2.

Juniors Eprakasi Yushkova and Jennifer Kraham played first and second doubles respectively and won in straight sets. They also teamed up as partners and prevailed 8-1, earning the Hawk's only win in doubles.

In third and fourth doubles, Stefanie Smith and Ericka Jaramillo  each won their respective matches in three sets, but fell when they were paired together in doubles 8-5.

The Hawks return to action on Tuesday, September 14 when they travel to Newburgh, New York to take on Mount Saint Mary's College in a non-conference match up scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
