STATEN ISLAND, NY—The Hunter College women's volleyball team defeated Medgar Evers for their fourth-straight victory.
The Hawks won the first set 25-12 on .308 hitting. Christine Luebcke and Jaclyn Hadfield led the way with four kills each as Katina Boutis tallied eight assists and two service aces. Hadfield added another four kills in the second set as Hunter won 25-8. Ingrid Belliard led the way in the third set, registering four kills and three service aces as Hunter closed out the match 25-10 to run their CUNY Athletic Conference unbeaten streak to six matches.
Boutis registered 14 assists in the first two sets as Mia Alexis De Claro added eight in the third set. Hadfield and Taylor Kordich each hit .500 for the match as the Hawks held the Cougars to a minus hitting percentage for the match.

Hunter (12-6, 6-0 CUNYAC) faces York College (4-17, 2-2 CUNYAC) at 1:00pm in the Hawks second match at the CUNYAC Multi-Match at the College of Staten Island.
