It was a long day for the Hunter College women's tennis team on Wednesday, March 30, as they took on and were defeated 9-0 by the No. 22 ranked (Division II ITA national rankings) Concordia College Clippers.

The Hawks were unable to record a single victory on the day, for the second match in a row, with Epraksi Yushkova taking the loss (6-1, 6-1), Jane Selegean (6-1, 6-0), Jennifer Kraham (6-2, 6-1), Stefanie Smith (6-1, 6-1), Ericka Jaramillo (6-1, 6-0), and Angelique Petropouleas (6-0, 6-0).

It was a tough day for the Hawks in doubles competition as well with the teams of Smith and Yushkova, Kraham and Selegean, and Jaramillo and Jessica Yi falling to their Concordia counterparts 8-1, 8-3, and 8-1 respectively.

The Hawks will return to action when they travel to Bethlehem, Pa., to take on Lehigh University on April 4. The match is set to kick off at 4pm.
