NEW YORK, NY - The Hunter College women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets by Eastern University in their final match at the 2011 NYU Violet Classic.

The Hawks lost 25-9, 25-7, and 25-12 as the Eagles won their 91st straight match against an unranked opponent.

Hunter (8-6, 4-0 CUNYAC) returns to the Hunter Sportsplex this Tuesday at 6:00pm to host CUNY Athletic Conference rival Brooklyn College.
